Brink write-ups from E3 2010 continue to appear all over the internet, detailing people's hands-on time with the game at last week's show. Here's the latest batch just in time for the weekend:

In other news, Brink is currently third in the Best Shooter reader's choice poll over at German magazine PC Games, just behind Crysis 2 and Rage. If you haven't yet, be sure to vote - it's turning out to be a very close race over there!

While we were waiting, I asked Ham if Splash Damage and Bethesda were planning a public beta. "We're not talking about that," he said. "I have no way I can answer that." Which, as cop-outs go, was at least honest. He did, however, tell me that Splash Damage has "a history" of doing public betas, and left me to make of that what I will. oooh, nice :cool:

Yahtzee doesn't like multiplayer so whatever he will say will be based on Brink's offline content.

Heh, that remains to be seen But Brink is going to be so omfgwtfwow that hopefully there won't be many with a bad word to say We can dream right?

Escapist author Russ Pitts was very positive about the game, and it was great to read that he is impressed by the A.I. That is excellent news!
But the most impressive aspect of Brink (at least for me, an inveterate single-player) is the bots. During our demo, the Splash Damage team had custom-created the bots and named them after members of the dev team who were in attendance at E3. Since many of these devs were also giving their own demos, I assumed I was playing against them. Time after time, the bots - named for real people - acted like real people. When Ham informed me I'd been playing against bots, I was astonished. YES!
