Splash Damage get dirty and more for Charity!

Special Effect
We’re captivated by the amazing work that Special Effect does to help those with disabilities to socialize, connect and play. Part of their work consists of modifying controllers so everyone has the chance to enjoy video games, and that is why they are our primary funding focus. So, recently we’ve taken part in Tough Mudder and a Shooting Day to help raise money for them…
Splash Mudders
A group of our devs are now so tough that this image was taken inside a real fire. In fact we keep hearing the sound of Splash Damage mugs smashing because their grips are THAT strong. They might go on about their brushes with death, but we mustn’t moan because they raised OVER £2000 for Special Effect.
Shooting Day
A small team of devs took their shooting skills to a new level at the clay pigeon shooting range to raise money for Special Effect. No live pigeons were harmed in the day.
Baking for Macmillan Cancer Support
We also took part in a bake sale and raised over £850 for Macmillan Cancer Support and amongst the wall of cake was a loaf fizzing with champagne, and a spongy Dalek!
If you have any ideas for what we could do to our Devs next (in the name of charity), let us know in the comments below.
