Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Websites Temporarily Offline

If you were looking to get your Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars fix on the internet today, you'll have noticed EnemyTerritory·com redirecting to Activision's own site. Due to unforeseen issues, the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars websites - including the main marketing, Community, and Statistics sites - are currently inaccessible. Men with keyboards are working to get the issues resolved, but unfortunately there is currently no solid estimate for when that might be. We'll do our best to keep you updated on the situation.

In the meantime, if you're looking for some forum action, why not stop by Splash Damage's own forums? We've got StroggTapirs and everything!

Hopefully just a small glitch, that can be reverted...

But would be cool if SD could import the forums here some day - at least the modding section ;)

Wow! That's pretty f'ing lame even for Activision.

Putting on my optimistic hat though, perhaps Zenimax have obtained the rights to ETQW and they're going to release it free or something.

Doubt they gone forever, they been down before I seem to remember.

The Community Site, stats site and the flash site have all gone down. Currently waiting to hear back from Activision on what happened and their ETA for a fix.

And yeah, chr1s, this happened a few months back when they changed some server settings and accidentally turned off a whole site in the process ;o

I wouldn't jump to conclusions so fast. Probably just someone screwed up.

Above that, even if they take the website down, they would have copies and backups of the forums. No worries!

Lol, I was just later then 3 posts above me XD Going fast here

Seriously they better pretend it was a mistake (which I don't believe) or at least for me that means NEVER ever again buying any Activision product.

Amazing how fast they did not only become the new EA, but much worse.

All the work in the editing forums alone.. gone? R.I.P. 70 pages WIP image thread
Do they even have an idea how much work was put into the non-English forums alone?

Luckily SD (and id too) got rid of them after the ETQW marketing disaster.

Condolence to Light for his newly won, but now vanished most posts "achievement"

Hopefully, because otherwise I'll stand by my WTF!

Just erks me a little that they only discounted ETQW 25% in the Steam sales. If they consider the game dead why not push it at 75% off and inject some players.

I hope the forums about brink will stay inside

...and the blame goes to: BOBBY *applause*

It seems to me that every game Activision is or was involved the past time is going to be an failure.
They have no interest that their product lives long and has an active community, because they already released new "Must-Buy" games. Thoose who play ET:QW don't spend their money in COD:MW2 or a newer product.

After EA now no more money to ATVI from me.

Still Activision redirect - it did this before though a few months ago. I doubt they've done a format c: on it

The stats site is also down and does the same redirect (my stat reader has also stopped working as a result).
