Game Overview

Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly™ is a remake of 2008's Odd-Toed Game of the Year Tapir Wars™. Gently plodding along in Splash Damage's rich and unique Tapirverse™, Tapir Wars: It Just Got Chilly repeats the story of an anonymous squad of elite tapirs who've seen it all as they blast, munch and cigar their way through a handful of surprisingly familiar environments and battle legions of evil penguins.

Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly is set to devolutionise gaming with the leaf-breaking T.R.A.M.S. (Totally Repeatable Automatic Movement System) button. Driven by sophisticated artificial intelligence, TRAMS analyses the current status of the PlayerTapir, his surroundings and any nearby enemies to automatically decide the best possible course of action for the player.

  • Anyone Can Play!
Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly introduces the devolutionary TRAMS button, you no longer need to memorise control schemes or possess hand-eye coordination. No choices, no frustration - TRAMS is the smarter way to play.
  • One Side to Every Story
History is written by winners. That is why Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly won't bore you with the other side of the story and you'll only experience what really matters: The sweet taste of TapirVictory.
  • Satisfying Multiplayer Gameplay
Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly is set to give multiplayer gaming a much-needed makeover. With our proprietary and leaf-breaking D.R.A.W. Technology, everyone's always a winner, no matter what their skill or experience.
  • Minimal Character Customisation
Why should you spend time dressing up your character when you can be out there blowing up vicious penguins? Tapir Wars 3: It Just Got Chilly introduces S.N.U.F.F.L.E. (Significantly Nerfed Uniform For Fighting Lots of Enemies), a single outfit for everyone: colour-coordinating clothing and picking out tattoos are finally things of the past.
Coming up with a devolutionary feature like T.R.A.M.S. (Totally Repeatable Automated Movement System) required a massive amount of iteration and testing. To accurately simulate what we wanted players to experience while using TRAMS, we started off by building a sophisticated physical prototype.

Dubbed Carriage Axle Research Technology, the prototype allowed us to accurately capture all the intricate forces at work when moving in a completely straight line without any sort of noticeable change in movement speed.

Splash Damage's C.A.R.T. guarantees players infinitely, totally, unwaveringly consistent gameplay: the millionth game will play exactly the same as the first... guaranteed!

How did we come to develop this extraordinary tech? While researching methods to reduce friction while exerting lateral force on loads, our techperts utilised an axial rotation method... with astounding results! "We Have Eliminated Energy Loss!", they exclaimed in delight. And the W.H.E.E.L. was invented.
