Being part of Splash Damage brings with it a variety of benefits and perks. Here are a few of them:

  • Additional holiday allowance
    To support staff having a suitable work life balance our annual leave is 33 days (incl. 8 public holidays).
  • Double pension contributions
    We double pension contributions (e.g. you pay 1% and we pay 2%) up to the limit of 3%, and increase this amount to 5% for senior staff.
  • Revenue share
    We share 1% of the revenues of the company with staff each quarter and everyone who has been working at Splash Damage for 12 full months (calculated on the 1st day of the quarter) and is not currently working through their notice period will get a juicy additional payment. This means that the better we do as a company, the better the revenue we will make and the larger the amount of money we’re able to distribute to everyone.
  • Share options
    We have allocated a proportion of the company’s share options to our staff, depending on length of service (i.e. more share options for longer service).
  • 10 weeks of paternity pay
    In order to support you when you need it the most we offer more than the standard 2 weeks paid paternity leave offered by many other companies. We pay 10 weeks (50 days) of paternity or maternity leave that is fully flexible for you to use during the first year of your child's birth.
  • Childcare vouchers
    Splash Damage is committed to supporting working parents, which is why we introduced a Childcare Voucher scheme, to help parents afford quality childcare. You don’t pay any tax or National Insurance (NI) on childcare vouchers. The savings in tax and NI can be worth up to £900 a year per parent.
  • BUPA health and dental cover
    Splash Damage makes sure that every member of staff (permanent and fixed term employees), has access to medical and dental cover by BUPA (a large private health provider in the UK). Our health and dental cover schemes are open to all staff after they’ve passed their probation and can extend to cover partners and children as well.
  • Gym membership
    To help you exercise your bodies as well as your minds we offer free gym memberships to all staff. You have the choice of two very good local gyms, and if you live outside of the Bromley area, we will pay for membership at a gym closer to home.
  • Eye tests
    We know that our staff spend considerable amounts of time on the computer, so eye tests are on us. To receive a free eye test please request a voucher from the Facilities Department.
  • Free parking
    We offer complimentary parking and bike sheds at our studios.
  • Referral fee
    We pay £1000 to any employee who recommends a candidate that is hired on a full-time basis.
  • State of the art facilities
    Splash Damage's brand-new, purpose-built offices feature a large recreational zone with group gaming spaces, a table football set, a big kitchen with fully stocked drinks fridges, several meetings rooms and our trademark open plan development floor that keeps everyone completely accessible.
  • Extensive games and books libraries
    All Splash Damage staff get access to our extensive Games and Books Libraries, featuring all the latest video games as well as a variety of books relevant to programming, art, and level design.
  • Regular social events
    Members of Splash Damage regularly get together for a wide variety of events. These include regular pub nights, parties and barbecues.
