Georgi 'Calader' Simeonov
Senior Concept Artist
Joining us from the depths of his own inkwell comes Georgi 'Calader' Simeonov. Georgi mainly sculpts his works in clay and beeswax, then retiring to a distance and tracing their outline through a telescope on to wax paper which he then colours with a variety of pastels, gouache and tinned pasta sauces. His initial concepts are sometimes refined in bas-relief or mosaic before being passed on to his left hand where they are shaken, sometimes brutally, until almost all of the glitter and crumbs have fallen off.
Georgi's interests include shaving, the letter 'T' and the sound made by dropping ham on grass. He wears an enormous heatsink, the blades of which he plucks to make a resounding 'PRONNGGGGGGGG, PRONNGGGGGGGG' noise. He is derived from the Sanskrit 'Gor-Geis Ihn-Uanaff', meaning 'tonsil ogre'. He was raised by bassoons, and can be used as a fuel rod in most water-cooled reactors.
