RAD Soldiers is Now Available Worldwide!

We’re really pleased to announce that RAD Soldiers is out worldwide! You can download it for free here in the App Store, and be sure to watch the brand-new Launch Trailer.

We’ll soon be releasing a RAD Soldiers Tactics Guide, also free, including player tips and techniques from the development team.

RAD Soldiers is our first mobile title, and we’re the financier, developer, publisher and operator. Because we’re in complete control, we’ve completed five months of open public testing. We’ve tested, iterated, polished, and balanced, seven builds for five months, with players helping by completing 235,000 turns and peaking at 100,000 minutes per day.

Here’s what we’ve been up to during the extensive live testing since June:

First-ever Dirty Bomb Gameplay Video Released!

We’ve released a brand-new gameplay video showing pre-alpha multiplayer footage from the pre-alpha version of Dirty Bomb. Be sure to watch that now and let us know what you like, and want to see more of!

We’re also launching a Founders Club for fans wanting priority access to the Closed Beta, exclusive in-game content cool swag, and public recognition for their support. Splash Damage to mentor Make Something Unreal Finalist

Epic Games has revealed the finalists of the Make Something Unreal Live 2013 game development contest, and we're pleased to reveal that Splash Damage has been chosen to mentor one of the teams for the final stage of the competition. We'll be working with Dead Shark Triplepunch, arguably one of the best names of all time. Dead Shark Triplepunch are one of just four team that made it to this stage of the contest with their entry "Loch Ness", a fast-paced arena-based combat game.

It's official - we're working on a new multiplayer shooter for the PC and it's called Dirty Bomb. Check out the teaser trailer over on the Dirty Bomb site and let us know what you think of it!

What does it all mean?!

Community Question: Create a Class

Community, many team-based multiplayer games, including Splash Damage's own, feature character classes of some sort. Be it Medics that keep people alive, Engineers throwing turrets and mines everywhere, Field Ops calling in artillery strikes, or Operatives disguising themselves as the enemy, there's a combat role for a multitude of play styles.

So is there room for anything else? That's the topic of this week's Community Question, where you have free reign to invent a few classes of your own:

Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Online Services Currently Offline

The data center hosting the online services for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars was taken out by Hurricane Sandy a few hours ago and is currently offline. That unfortunately means you won't be able to sign into your online account, and multiplayer server authentication is unavailable too. An army of engineers and technicians is working to restore power and service, but it's understandably difficult due to the on-going conditions in the area. We'll keep an eye on things and will let you know when normal service resumes.

Community Question: Multiplayer Genres of Choice

Community, there's a huge amount of choice out there when it comes to games. Being a multiplayer-focused company, we're very interested to find out what sorts of games you like to play when you're craving a bit of competitive (or cooperative) online action.
