Default Omni-Bots Install

Hello if anyone knows what files I need to edit to configure the Omni-Bots for ET please let me know. Also is there a tutorial or step by step guide available for this that would be great. thanks

if the bot works, you probably only want to edit et_autoexec.gm

did all the editing but its like something is missing need a list of files that need to be edited.

Yes in omni-bot.cfg file, I went with using a total of 4 bots engineers and covert-ops makes it a bit more interesting.

so erm,

what exactly IS the problem ?

they don't start at all ? or what is it that is not working ?

ur running them on a server ? or just on a home pc ?

and maybe good to know:

what version of omni-bot you want to use ?
and are you running a mod ? line noquarter ? what version of the mod you run ?

Sorry for the lack of detail, this is for a server and not a home pc, the version of ET:is 2.60b,Omni-Bots .71 no mods like NoQuarter, etc. and I need a guide to point me in the right direction the bots are non-functional and I have followed exactly what support and guides I do have just need some more detailed info on what files need to be edited, which ones? not just the folder name would be very helpful. Thanks

PS this is on a new install.

if you're not running any of the other mods, are you loading the omnibot mod? +set fs_game omnibot in the server startup script. if you are, then you will need to ensure that the omnibot_path is set to the full path of where you put the omni-bot folder. note that omni-bot folder has the bot lib and scripts while the omnibot (no dash) folder is the generic mod folder.

I hate to say it but I am a novice at this could you post a small sample of what your talking about, thanks for the help

yes that's what i am referring to. however, you need to change from +set fs_game omni-bot to +set fs_game omnibot ( no dash! )

Thanks I did a reinstall of the omni-bots 0.71, and added NoQuarter1.2.3 this morning and that did the trick bots are now active, also added 10 new maps. Thanks for your help
