View Full Version : Blocksize equivalent?

I've been fooling around with large areas but areas larger than about 0.8 mi. have so many leaf nodes that my memory can't handle the compile. I know in the Quake III engine this can be solved with the blocksize worldspawn command (chopsize in Raven games)...is there an equivalent command in Doom 3?

-nodeblocksize <val> in your dmap command line
try 4096 for huge outdoor areas

Thanks! By the way, what is the dmap command line? I tried running dmap from the console with the command as an option, but it didn't seem to recognize it so I assume that isn't it...
