I know I read somewhere you could grab monsters in-game with a certain console command. Been searching around for that online. Just curious about that.

More importantly Carmack had mentioned in the QuakeCon Keynote that level designers could tweak sounds in-game. Is this possible?

His quote: "We have sound editor integrated with the game where the audio designers can run around and modify sounds literally while they're playing the game."

Please, please tell me you can do this.

You can bind a key to drag the monsters around. E.g., type "bind p toggle g_dragentity" in the console. Now, when you press "p", your crosshair turns into a dragging tool. Aim at the monster you want to drag, left click and move him around. To return to your gun, press "p" again.

thanks, that is cool - you can edit sounds in game but alot more complicate. While editor is running type editSounds in game console - you're on your own from there I am still messing around with it
