cant load my map

i have made a simple room like this one in the following tut ->

but when i try to load the map : ctrl+alt+~ to get the console & i write: dmap maps/1.map it starts to load, but nothing happens after all ... where's the problem?? :???:

dmap only compiles the map ready to play, you must use "map" to run your map :)
