View Full Version : need a hand with func_animate

yo,

Just need a hand with this func_animate, basicly stumped on how to make something animate in my map, when I specify start_anim 1 and run doom3, it says it cant find anim 1, is this some sort of set, do I NEED ascript for this?

Using an ase model exported from 3dsmax with 95 frames if that helps at all.

You've exported it as an md5mesh/anim right?

No I don't have an md5 exporting plugin for max, looking for one now.

Ok I have an md5mesh/anim now, but I dont know how to view it in doomedit, I can only see .lwo and .ase in the model browser.

mds, as used by RtCW, is pretty much md4.
