vis.exe
bsp.exe.....etc
and all programm needed...
i know my question seem to be stupid
but i need to learn
and i need tools to...

you need the current gtkradiant at www.qeradiant.com and new q3map2 (the compiler) at www.shaderlab.com (or here at the sticky links) and then get help for setup at www.wolfensteinx.com/surface and check out the mapper-ressources list here for a load of tutorials

Every GtkRadiant release has a Q3Map2 release in it already.

But GtkRadiant gets updated on a much slower cycle than q3map2 does, so the version of q3map2 that you get with GtkR usually becomes outdated within a few weeks.

I found all... :clap:
i 've compiled q3dm17sample.map :drink:
it take 10 mn on my XP2500+ (barton) and 1 Gb DDR333
with Q3map2... :eek3:
it's very long is that normal ?

Compiled properly (with -vis -fast and -light -fast) it takes under 1 minute on my Athlon 2200+ for a full compile.

be prepared for way longer compiles when you build a bigger map! :D
