Hey guys, i know that there is a topic called script_mover & tank stuff, but my question don't affects >>tank<< . I want to make a boat like this Mark II -

http://www.ofp.4players.de/grafik/fahrzeuge/west/mark-II-pbr.jpg

which will work, more or less like second train [ on railgun ] - i mean it's indestructible and - it's moving only if someone from allied team is in it. It will be the best if it would got mounted gun - brownig :)

My tries to make this boat where based on tank from goldrush map :disgust: :( - boat.map (http://sierpik.republika.pl/boat.map)

tnx for any response :drink:

You're on the right track trying to use a tank for an example. However, if you want a mounted gun, I think you need the correct tags setup in the model itself. Not sure what tags theya re though, perhaps someone else will fill in the blanks.

Apart form that, doing what you would do for a tank should do fine. Alternatively, use a script mover (no MG42 though) because it would be much simpler to setup.

You will have to create a boat model in the md3 format with tags to attach your trigger brushes, mounted gun, etc.

I believe player_tag is the name of the tag used for adding a mounted gun.

Also, once you have created a model with tags, you will have to use the tag exporter program written by djbob. Search for the link. It's been posted in the forum already.

I will be using a boat in my map as well, but I haven't gotten around to creating the model yet. Hopefully you can take these pointers and report back anything new that you learn! :D
