tag exporter - how do I use it

Can someone tell me how to use the tag files that are created using
md3totag.exe (tag file exporter)?

I understand how to create the tag files, but now that I have them,
what good are they? They don't seem to tell me what the internal
tags are on a model, like I thought it would.

Do I need them to get the attachtotag to work? If so how?

Everytime I think I've made progress in the movable model area, it seems
I take a step back. :banghead:
