Hi ! Im sure somebody asked this before , but i couldnt find the thread..Im still new to mapping, but thanks to the tutorials ive been improving. The question is, how can I put different types (brightness) of light in my map so if i go into a room the light conditions change. I guess shadows not showing in my map has something to do with it. I tried putting lights but when compiled you dont see them and everything on my map has the same brightness... :???:

i guess you compiled bsp -meta
:) after you compiled bsp -meta compile with -vis and then -light, that should get your problems fixed

then you don't have enough lights, no ambient light, or you did something wrong.

Perhaps, but the inappropriate language stuck me more as it being sarcastic.

As could "the dark" be interpreted as "lack of enlightenment". ;)
