Clean install but pb still old nick..?

I had to reinstall my OS and hence ET and thought that meant i would get a whole new ET setup, new nick, guid etc...

But i joined a server and my old nick was given to me, I have a static IP so pb must use that to recognize me....?

But still i thought that as i had reinstalled ET my guid/key would be different, so i chose a new root nick for ET this time round and now pb is kicking me from servesr due to some integrity mismatch thing... any ideas how i can just start afresh ?

I have no idea if this has got anything to do with it, but i've heard PB can remember your hardware "id"'s or something... No idea what to do about it, sorry...

when u uninstall et it will not delete everything.
it will keep the profile folders.
u need to delete them manually.

doh my mistake, i had a saved an autoexec.cfg from last time which i had put in my etmain, so et had automatically loaded this and hence my old nick was in it. Last time i created an autoexec i had to load it up in console before it worked.

That's kinda what autoexec does, it automatically executes the cfg file :p
