I have DSL, a very fast computer and so on..WHY is it taking so BUSHing long to download ET?

Well, after six hours I finally have ET installed--guess I should have reinstalled my DOWNLOAD MANAGER when I bought my new confuser!

Looks like the game installed correctly--I just picked the first WOLFENSTEIN on the page--anyone know if I should patch it, too?

Well yes, if the W:ET version you download is from this site, it's probably the 2.55 version. You need to upgrade to 2.60 first, and then "manually" patch it to 2.60b by extracting a few files from a .zip archive into your W:ET folder.

Where might I find the upgrade and patch, then? Is it located here on this site or do I need to search the nether corners of the Web to find it?

The download on this site is 2.60. And look what happens when you type in "wolfenstein 2.60b" into Google. You get this (http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefront.com/file/Wolfenstein_Enemy_Territory_260b_Patch_win32;62012 ) as the first result.

Hardly rocket science. Laziness breeds contempt from others (read: me).
