Ok, this might a noob question, but I'm stuck. I have the spawns, lights, no leakages, and its not compiling. The message I am getting is:

The connection timed out, assuming the build process faild.
Make sure you are using a networked version of Q3map?
Otherwise you need to disable BSP monitering in prefs.

Ok, I'm still a noob at mapping, and understand nothing except it won't compile. Help?!?

Ehmm Running firewall? Antivirus? Allow Radiant and q2map (or howerver its called) a localhost connections, e.g. 127.0.0.1 .

Maybe, just maybe, you should do what it says? ^^

"Make sure you are using a networked version of Q3map?
Otherwise you need to disable BSP monitering in prefs. "

1. Are you using a networked version of Q3map..
- If you are a noob as you say i presume you're not.

2. You need to dsiable BSP monitoring in prefs..
- Go to Edit - Preferences - BSP Monitoring and uncheck "Enable BSP monito...."

I don't know what this will do, but if it doesn't solve your problem then the error is wrong :P

What are you using to compile?

I suggest you get a program such as http://www.bobdev.com/q3map2build.php
to make batch files for the compile.

Then you can edit more settings (in the batch file or in q3map2build), and see exactly what parameters are being used.

Well, I'm getting this problem again. :x

I'm using the newest version of Radiant (1.5). So far, it was all working great until a couple of hours ago when I tried compiling it. I've tried disabling BSP, and that did nothing. I've also tried every variation of compilation in the build menu, but none of them succeeded.

Any ideas?
