Note that the ship that was taken down was getting shot at by a machine gun but someone else hits it with a panzer and takes it down. I am sure more concentrated fire from an smg will still take out vehicles.

yeah, i saw that, but in a previous video, I believe another vehicle was destroyed just buy assault rifle fire.

The shader effect on the screen when the vehicles hit in the air.

The high quality of the models.

The fact that an infantry shoting at one of those crafts is able to take it down.

Hmmm most PC games have been high def for awhile. Monitors do not run at a 480i tv resolution. Most CRTs can acheive 1600x1200 which is pretty close to the high def 1080p TVs (1920x1080). Now assuming that you can run Quakewars at that resolution it will be basically high def.

1) high definition = generic term for something with lots potential detail
2) HDTV = High Definition Television. A television standard, with more resolution than basic TV. Not applicable to PCs, unless you have an HDTV card.
3) HDRR (or HDR rendering) = rendering graphics with high dynamic range. Used in some recent video games... see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_rendering

Only #1 applies to ET:QW, AFAIK.
