i took this snap from a monitor in the recent planetquake video. what is this guy doing here? is knifing now from left to right? ever since the goat sound was introduced in etpro i found a passion in knifing people, hence why i'm interested :D

ps: sorry for the bad quality, it was just an animated gif quickie from a wmv source ... if you need a better quality, you can check out that vid: http://www.mytempdir.com/670793

it's the monitor in the middle at the beginning of the vid

It would look better if you're stabbing one in the back, compared to the W:ET's "poke" animation.

He's Xorro, Zorro's little brother who was frozen in carbonite.

EDIT: Where did those two posts come from??

Using knife as baynonett would be a nice feature: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Fass90-bayonette-p1000786.jpg

Then we would end up like in CoD: everyone just storming at each other when they would have to reload to engage into a lucky "hit him with your buttstock lol!" moment. It is fine the way it is, you have to draw your knife out of your inventory instead of just clicking alt-fire to stab him. Makes it more of a challenge.

We need throwable knives ala Action Quake 2! If anyone remembers that. :)

That animation is almost the exact same one they use in Day of Defeat: Source
