i just stepped through the E3 gallery on http://planetquake4.net and found the image below.

is there any chance that i/we could get this image in high quality? it looks absolutely awesome and i'd like to print it and hang it into my gaming room.

by the way: is the screenshot a wallpaper or part of an intro?

I think I have managed to keep the quality while increasing the resolution, if it isn't good enough, then it's the best I can do with the software I have

Not being snobbish or anything, just have a good amount of experience with lighting/graphics stuff, but the problem isn't resolution, it's the fact that it's a photograph with fairly crappy lighting and a horrible case of screen glare. So basically, even with really nice editing software there isn't much you can do.

So please release this wallpaper to us SD!!! And maybe have the loading bar be a spoof on date until release time and like, have it going back and forth displaying random release dates... hehe that would be cool... (yes, I know there is a website like this out there, but it would be so much cooler with that loading screen! :blah:

Wow, awesome gallery on your site, Arcipello. I've seen that "Shen Ku character" in so many people's forum avatars, wasn't it featured on Deviantart a while back? I'm also a huge fan of the Stand Alone Complex series, I just finished watching both seasons.

indeed. the greatest thing i admire is a guy playing a bluesy baritone sax. the next great thing is a guy that really knows how to draw and paint like that. really astonoshing work.

just to get this straight: i've read today on an etqw site that some people tried to improve the cam pic on the first page with not much success but a "member" called arcipello got a result finally.

as i understand it from what i've read the pic originated from arcipello, he did the original one that was seen in the loading screen. besides SD hired him and we can expect more of his art in ETQW.

is that correct?

lol, it seemed like both threads were a "conversation des sourds"... I'm not sure how that translates in English, but it's something like "a conversation between deaf people".

In drama, it's a dialogue of two independent monlogues where two protagonists are blathering on about their topics, while ignoring each other's monologue.

p.s. There's a version of that picture which has been released! ;)
