i have been interested about this game ever since i heard splash damage were making another enemy territory.
so first thing i do is go to their website and sign up for the 'updates'. I don't part with my e-address lightly, so it disheartens me that i haven't recieved any emails yet.. not even one.

whats the use of signing up for email updates if they don't send anything :s

what does everyone think?

i don't care about a newsletter, but an update to the homepage would be nice. it's been the same for months now, without any changes. not even the new screenshots are on the homepage. and there's still that low quality trailer in an annoying not-downloadable flash version ... i need a HD version :D

and i really do need a new trailer badly, seriously ... ;):D

I can see a human catastrophe occurring. As QW gets closer to release and no demo or new trailers are release, over anticipated gamers start to spontaneously combust just like the drummers from spinal tap. SD's market is wiped out, QW is a failure as no one is left to buy it and SD is no more (well it aint all badhttp://www.clan-nightwatch.org/images/blocks/shout_box/smilewinkgrin.gif)

i reckon it could do with an update but im sure everyone is working away on the game at SD and its prolly id's site in the 1st place.

But this is the case with most pre release sites i have ever bothered looking at so i dont really mind

I always assume that any e-mail automated updates from any game-site will always be BIG updates.....such as "we started making the game" and "now you can buy the game".

The Quake4 site sat stagnant for sometime and then they did the Q4 image contest, released the game, made the site 50% complete, released a demo....kinda finished the site(I think).

so its wolf + quake
has nothing to do with bf2

clearly there are some young ppl who have never played Wolf3d or RTCW.

PS.. no emails yet but the guys over at quakewarshq have made some nice wallpapers and hosted them in the downloads section.

Ok 10 mins demo of RTCW... But i get its feeling by playing ET. RTCW was before my fps gaming time. I started with OH NO!!! BF1942... How sad...
