At the moddatabase (http://www.moddb.com/) I've found a first mod for ET:QW:
MTS-Mech-Tactical-Simulation (http://mods.moddb.com/4281/MTS-Mech-Tactical-Simulation/)

Here is the ET:QW section:
ET:QW modlisting (http://mods.moddb.com/?search=true&=Search&mod=&mf=0&game=182&type=0)

Now all we need is Bongoboy's repply, or some kind of tapir reference.

Oh, by the way....

Judging from how the renders say BF2, it's safe to assume this was being developed but BF2 didn't work out...

lol.

I wonder how the mech will preform with the realistic physics engine.

Hmm, there's already a mech in et:qw as far as I remember.
The one from the Strogg.

Goliath Heavy Walker

The Goliath's articulated legs allow it remarkable manoeuvrability over almost any surface type, even steep slopes. It features colossal anti-armour and anti-personnell weapons, but is most powerful when controlled by both Pilot and Gunner (due to the Gunner’s ability to use 360 degree rotation independently of the Pilots walking direction).

Verry impressive, but adding vehicls to any game needs two thing: you need to make it work from a coding point of view and you need to make it work in terms of gameplay.
And the latter takes most time and effort, imo.

here are some more conecpt drawings & renders of the mod:

If such a mod would arise for ET:QW it's another pro to buy it :)
Not that the ET:QW main looks less promising than that mod. :P

A WW2 Mod for et:qw would own all other WW2 games :D

Yes probably, but we'll see how easy to mod ETQW is when the game is released :)

Should be easy...

yo, i hope someone does an ET conversion, prolly with the chick that appeared on the first screens :D

and once we can drive the tank manually i think it could survive driving down the bridge directly on the right in goldrush instead of driving the long left curve down :D

Drivable tanks exist for W:ET, they only need balancing in terms of gameplay..

Wolfenstein: The Frontline (formerly FalckonET) is a mod supporting tanks, probably the only one.
The problem is that the current code needs revision, the tanks are too fast and too well-armed to take one out with a PF. We're still working on that.
