View Full Version : A Strange Lag Issue?

Whenever i am connected to Ventrillo and a game server and i talk, i get really bad lag. This doesnt happen in teamspeak (Hate Teamspeak) so i dont know what the problem is. Maybe it's a firewall problem but i cant see anything wrong with my windows firewall.

Has anybody had this problem, or does anybody know the solution. It has only started to happen with my new pc.

What is your internet connection bandwidth/type?

From a speed test, i got this:

I didn't actualy get this problem untill 2 week's ago, when i phoned my ISP to reset the connection. Could this be a problem?

I am on 1mb Cable connection.

Ouch, with that upstream speed, make sure the ventrillo server use a codec that compress the stream well

Yeh - upstream is usually 256K or 128K min
