again questions

can anyone tell me
1. if u have a brush how to make for example the upper side with a texture and the rest with caulk or something else?
2. how to merge 2 brushes?
3.when i see maps they have small boxes but when i load them in gtkradiant u see a brush with pieces of the box texture how to make them urself when they show as small boxes and not as pieces?

1-ctrl+shift+click selects sides of brushs
2-i think* CSG Merge (button at top of Radiant)
3-huh?

3. Create a brush. Then give the brush the box-texture you like. Then press "S" to open the Surface Inspector. Then click the FIT button and there you go. If you want the brush to have different box-textures, then select only the surface you want to have another texture (CTRL + SHIFT + Left CLick) and click the texture you want (Or if you have a scoller button select the texture first and the CTRL + SHIFT + Scroll CLICK). When you have that surface selected open the Surface Inspector again and do FIT. Voila!
