There was also an additional small patch to game/.
The following link has windows dlls as well.
http://files.filefront.com/wolfcam_0_0_2zip/;4111402;;/fileinfo.html
Create a directory called wolfcam in your ET directory (C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\wolfcam).
Unzip the above file into wolfcam\
ET.exe +set fs_game wolfcam +demo someDemo
IN the console, use /players to get a list of players and their ids. Use /follow [id number] to follow selected player. /follow -1 to return to the original demo taker's pov.

the very first version of EDV (rtcw) had this feature, but I never continued working on this feature but I left it out in the next version because people didnt seem to use it and after all nobody asked about it :p.
At some point I was able to recreate the 1st person gun animations (most of them) for the other players by abusing the info in the EVENTS

It has support for etpro. Just ignores "fatal" errors and hacks around BULLET_* and obituary events.
Getting the first person gun animations seemed too much of a pain. :(
