Job Description
As Splash Damage's UI Programmer, you will be responsible for implementing and refining the UI for our games. Working closely with Splash Damage's UI Artist, Design Team, Art Director and the Lead Programmer, you will define UI requirements and execute the vision of the game. You will be expected to implement new features as requested, provide assistance in ensuring the optimal use of resources, and maintain an existing code base.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Prior UI programming experience on a shipped title
- Keen interest in researching and implementing new UI technologies
- The ability to work on multi-discipline team
- Experienced and proficient in C++
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code
- Good verbal and written English skills
- Strong math background
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Multiplatform development experience with Unreal Engine and/or Unity
- Experience with multi-threaded development
- Experience with Autodesk Scaleform
- Experience with Action Script 2.0 or 3.0
- Vector Art skills (Flash, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of platform specific UI technical requirements
- Strong understanding of UI flow from front end through to the HUD
