Splash Damage's New Project to be Revealed on Spike TV Tonight

At long last, our closely-guarded latest project is set to be revealed with a sneak peek during tonight's special E3 episode of GameTrailers TV. Titled GTTV Presents: VGA-E3 First Look 2009 Special, the whole thing is set to air on US television channel Spike TV at 11 PM Eastern Time (which is roughly 4 AM here in the UK). Here's more information on the program:

"Want to get a look at the hottest games of E3 before anyone else? GTTV's Geoff Keighley is joined by actress Rose McGowan to reveal the most anticipated games of the show in front of a live audience in Los Angeles. See world premiere trailers, an appearance from Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer, and other surprises."

Way cool. If I'm awake at 10pm central, I'll check it out. Otherwise, DVR or gametrailers.com (which will probably have higher quality video, honestly). I've really been looking forward to seeing what you've been up to the last couple of years.

I just might set the clock for 4 am. But I'm wondering if it's worth it to transform into a zombie for the whole rest of the day. And I'm pretty sure Gametrailers won't be updated for a few hours and then I'm gonna sit there, smashing yet another screen...and not out of love this time.

LOL, now I know why everyone at SD was growing beards, wasn't the crunch it was to develop that eyebrow texture. :) Bit annoying that the Publisher is getting name drops, wouldn't hurt to say "The new game from Bethesda and Splash Damage" Well you can consider my [insert genitalia of choice] teased, lets hope E3 has some more details and in-game footage.

OK, so next time you guys think about posting a link to a site that has a slow uptake like that please add a Advisory Warning sticker to it or something because I nearly went smashy smashy after 45+ minutes trying to track down the actual program to watch after foolishly proving my loyalty and staying up till 4AM!. I want a voucher to claim that lost time back! (although I'd settle for a preview copy). ;) Seriously though, congrats chaps, hope this is a good one for you *thumbsup*

Wow, if they are already working on another game. This makes me think that Brink was just a game, to build their engine on, and see how it works with the community and what not. Like how MAG was for Socom 4 on the PS3. (Bascially, releasing a terrible game or somewhat not Triple-A title, then see how that goes, then release the better title.) So far, if this the case thats messed up. I really won't be preordering this next Splash Damage game at all. I really thought Brink would be one of their best titles. But man, they released it FULL of bugs! Now that I read this, I can totally see that Splash Damage used Brink as a working title, just to get it out there probably to see how it goes. Im guessing this next title, will use a lot of the engine in Brink. This just makes me sick, that they already wanna release information about a new project. CMON GUYS.

I really hope it's going to be Brink in one form or another: A) Valve-style: free expansions, content, bugfixes and polish in general B) Blizzard-style: Brink expansion which needs to be bought, but good changes and balance fixes backported to vanilla Brink Otherwise...
