Play Brink at Eurogamer Expo
Submitted by badman on Fri, 09/10/2010 - 16:05
We're delighted to be able to confirm that Brink will make its UK hands-on debut at Eurogamer Expo and will be playable on the show floor. Several members of the Brink team will also be there to chat with gamers and members of the media, so if you see us around, don't hesitate to stop by and say 'ello.
Eurogamer Expo takes place from 1 - 3 October at Earls Court in London. Tickets as well as more information can be had on the Eurogamer Expo website. We hope to see you at the show!

Will it be another build of the game? PC perhaps?

Excellent news, glad I agreed to go along now (well, ok, so there's other stuff that drew me in, but this is sort of like an icing on cake deal)

Making demo builds takes a lot of time and effort that might be used elsewhere.

Consoles are also more booth-friendly. Stand with the controller for a few minutes and next on in the qeue please.

I didn't take it as such, and didn't mean to be rude if it came off that way... just trying to dance around the answer a little.

Great news! Look forward to reading more impressions after that event as well.
(And feel free to slip us unfortunates who can't attend any of these expos, some direct feed footage of a session or two. :D )

sorry to sound like a total tool but if i were to go to this. My friend and i would be traveling down from dundee in scotland. We've never been to a gaming event before so were wondering if we'd be able to play the likes of brink no matter what day we came down?

Any day that the Expo floor is open, the playable games will be available for you to play. Of course, including Brink.
The thing to warn about is the queue, for most of our recent shows it's been a 2-3 hour wait... first thing in the morning seems to be the best time for that.

I would think so, I'm going on the Saturday (also leaving from Dundee). You better hurry, Saturday tickets are sold out and fri/sun show as running out.

Wish I could go there check it out . . .
Enjoy Brink's and Rage's game play booths, perhaps take also a closer look at independent developers like Team Meat,Meat Boy, too bad there's no shooting :D
