Cinematics Animator
We're currently expanding our team of environment artists for our multi-platform title BRINK with Bethesda Softworks and are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic people with a talent and passion for advancing the medium.

Job Description
As Splash Damage's Cinematics Animator, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of animations using both motion capture and hand keyed methods for in-game and cinematic purposes.
- Work with the Art Director and Animation Team to create and maintain the game's animation style
- Be self motivated and demonstrate initiative
Essential Skills and Experience
- Solid understanding of animation theory and the principles of animation, particularly relating to the movement of the human body
- Knowledge of human behavior through body language and physiological reactions
- Thorough knowledge of the latest game animation techniques and pipelines from early planning stages through to implementation including working with motion capture data
- Excellent knowledge of Maya and Motionbuilder
- A good understanding of scene composition/framing and camera direction
- Good knowledge of character setup and rigging processes
- Passion for making film, animation and video games
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Experience liaising with programming and design teams
- Good organization, problem solving and time management skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of other game art disciplines, for example modelling and texturing
- 2D animation and life drawing skills
- Acting skills
- 3 years+ experience in animation
- Minimum 1 shipped title where credited as animator
