New Brink Video Dev Diary: The Last Stand

The Last Stand, the first-ever video developer diary for Brink, is now available for watching. This first installment is all about the Ark, its inhabitants, and the conflict about to engulf the entire island, and features several members of the Brink team. There's plenty of new game footage to be had too, so suffice to say, it's a must-watch.

Edit: Watched it a 2nd time and paused at parts.

Looks like there will be lots of XXX signs in container city, but where dem womanz at?! (/gaybar..)

Finally there's some new action!
Was this only PC gameplay? Didn't see any console icons on the screen at least.
Most the previous gameplay have been from consoles.

It looks even more awesome again!

Finally a plot that leaves of the topic. There are neither the good one nor villains, only be interested. And without mentioning the jugabilidad that promises to be the past one, a bit of Mirrors Edge, KillZone 2, FallOut 3... Definitively Bethesda has met in the white on Splash Damage.

Im so glad you guys have finally given us some more video but we kept being told what we already know, however i loved the new scenes and things we got to gimps, and i can tell you have updated the textures and models.

The graphics are starting to looks amazing, not that they didnt before but they were some truley breathtaking shots there. character and gun modles still looking amazing, animation is Brilliant! (In first person)

I think the third person animation has work to be done, there were a few glitches and wierd floating up ramp characters.

SMART is looking even better and smoother than before.

Splash damage have rensured me again that this will be a masterpeice of gaming, i look forward to it even more as time goes by and new info is releaed.

KEEP IT COMING!!!!

That was in the vid @ 1:56.

Also @ 2:00 looks like an enemy in red outline.

I loved that guy at 1:21 , really shows the variety of character customization once more

Overall great video, looking forward to reports from quakecon and gamescom about gameplay now.

When I saw no xp pop up and no red glowy stuff I imagined myself in a wonderfull fairy land where all these weird stuffs were controled by clientside Cvars...

That was a fantastic video montage! Really well put together! It was the first gameplay footage that I've seen that made me actually think it was the real game as opposed to a set up scene.

Well done. Can't wait for more over the coming festivals..

The last picture isn't from live in game footage. So it won't look that way.
