Come to QuakeCon 2010, Play Brink

QuakeCon 2010 is almost here and we're delighted to announce that Brink will be playable at the event. It'll be the first time the general public gets to play the game and we couldn't be more excited. We'll have a few guys out there as well, so expect to bump into us here and there.

Incidentally, this year's QuakeCon registration will be handled on-site at the event - the Bethesda Blog has more details on this. QuakeCon 2010 will kicks off on 12 August at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas. For more information about the four day event, visit the QuakeCon website.

Any Americans around who'll be there and write a review? I mean people who have actually played ET / ETQW. All reviews so far have been coming from completely different backgrounds and it just isn't the same.

Ha! I also hope so, Seba!

But with version playable by public, we can expect tons of videos, at a minimum.

Well I personally can listen to them explaining how Brink is a class-based shooter with special movement where you can customize your character set on a floating city for hours.

Exactly, I won't be there, but I look forward to the numerous updates from the reporters who will.

Texas in the summer.....is awful. 90-105 degrees Fahrenheit (~40C) with 90 percent humidity. That and it's about 1500 miles from my house....
