First Ever ETQW Tournament at QUAKECON 07

id Software have just announced their tournament plans for this year's QuakeCon and we're delighted to see confirmation that this year's 'Con will see the first ever Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars tournament. Sponsored by NVIDIA, 32 teams will get to battle it out in a 6 on 6 double elimination tournament in order to find the world's very first ETQW champions. QuakeCon is to be held in Dallas from August 2-5 2007. Take a look at the official QuakeCon website for more information and the official press release.

The Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta is beginning and we've teamed up with the folks at FilePlanet to deliver the beta client to some 60,000 people.
